Payment is due two weeks prior to surgery date. Financing options are available:
MediCard:
MediCard provides financing service for surgery and other medical procedures. The application process ensures a quick turnaround and has many options for terms and payment plans. Once approved, MediCard pays the Surgical Centre directly. For more information, visit www.medicard.com
For Ontario patients
Certain procedures may be covered under OHIP. Please contact the Surgical Centre to inquire if your procedure may be insured.
For foreign patients seeking surgery while they are visiting Manitoba (urgent or injury related surgery):
Maples recognizes many foreign insurance carriers, and it is likely that your injury related surgery will be covered. We do require the following information relating to your insurance plan: your plan name and number, the name of the insured and coverage number. Prior approval by your plan is required, and we are pleased to take care of this process on your behalf. You will also be asked to provide a copy of your credit card as security, in the unlikely event that your insurer fails to pay within 45 days.
