Dr. Nancy Van Laeken , MD, FRCS(C)

Dr. VanLaeken has over 14 years experience in cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery. She is a

fully certified plastic surgeon and a member of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, as well as the

Canadian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. VanLaeken graduated from Medical School at the University of Ottawa and obtained her plastic surgery training at he University of British Columbia .

Dr. VanLaeken specializes in reconstructive micro-surgery and is also involved in breast reconstruction following cancer surgery. She is currently the Head of the Department of Surgery for Providence Health Care in Vancouver .

Dr. Van Laeken is a Clinical Associate Professor, Division of Plastic Surgery, at the University of British Columbia and an active staff member at B.C.'s Children's Hospital and Women's Hospital and a surgical team member at False Creek Surgical Centre. In 2000, she was awarded one of Canada 's top ten doctors in the Hospital News.
