Dr. Anthony Salvian, Vascular Surgeon

Dr. Salvian completed his medical degree at the University of Western Ontario in 1975, and his fellowship in clinical vascular surgery at the University of Manitoba . This was then followed by a vascular research fellowship at the University of California (UCLA) completed in 1981.

Dr. Salvian has written and published twenty-nine refereed papers and is an active participant of continuing medical education in vascular surgery. In addition, he is very active in fundraising and public service activities.

In addition to being a surgical team member at False Creek Surgical Centre, Dr. Salvian is an active staff member at both the Vancouver General Hospital and St. Paul 's Hospital. He is also associate staff at the University Hospital and is a consultant to the BC Children's Hospital, Cancer Control Agency of Vancouver, Holy Family Rehabilitation Centre and St Vincent 's Hospital. He is a clinical professor at the University of British Columbia.
