Dr. Roy Jackson, Gynecologist

Originally from South Africa, Dr. Jackson is a Canadian Board Certified Specialist in Gynaecology, and a member of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the International Society of Gynaecologic Endoscopists, the American Association of Gynaecologic Laparoscopists, the Canadian Society of Urogynaecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery and the American Society of Laser Medicine.   He is Medical Director of Southern Health Centres, Director of Gynaecology at False Creek Surgical Centre, and Consultant Gynaecologist at Peace Arch Hospital and Delta Hospital.   Under the umbrella of Southern Health Centre, Dr. Jackson has created a highly successful Bladder Health Centre that offers Urodynamics testing and leading-edge treatment of urinary issues.   He has more than four thousand patients in his clinical practice, and specializes in the minimally invasive treatment of incontinence, prolapse, and abnormal bleeding.   In addition, Dr. Jackson is a specialist in cosmetic gynaecology, menopause, PMS, and infertility.  

Dr. Jackson created the highly innovative and diverse Romich Group in 1996, which includes the successful, progressive Southern Health Centres; Romich Medical, a healthcare device and equipment company dedicated to the research, sales, marketing, and distribution of superior, minimally invasive medical devices for women; Romich Biotechnology Fund, a scientific and biotechnology incubator committed to the financial and conceptual nurturance of medical innovations leading to the patenting of inventions; and Romich Real Estate Fund, a healthcare-oriented real estate investment company.  

Throughout his distinguished and dynamic career, Dr. Jackson has served as Principal Investigator in multiple research studies, presented at international medical conferences, and worked with a multitude of biotechnology companies, all in the spirit of bettering healthcare.
